Duffy PTO funds Konstella to be used as a school-wide online communication tool. Please refer to this document for more information on how to register. Konstella is a necessary resource to keep current on all things Duffy, including:

• classroom communication

• online directory

• volunteer sign-ups

• event organization

• calendar of school activities

• event reminders

• online donations and payments

• social groups (example: new families)

Ways to register for Konstella

Duffy is fortunate to have incredibly dedicated parent volunteers. Review annual opportunities to support the Duffy community through PTO activities – including Room Parents, Library Volunteers and Event Chairs for the coming year. 

We are always happy to have more volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering, please see the weekly eblast for immediate needs or email our volunteer coordinator, Kim Molinaro, KimMolinaro@gmail.com.

CHECK REQUEST/REIMBURSEMENTS

Submitted either:

• Physically - with original receipts attached using the check request form and returned to the Treasurer Mailbox in the Duffy front office.
  
  or
   

• Virtually - with photos of original receipts attached using the check request form and returned to duffypto@gmail.com

Reimbursements need to be completed with the original receipt and the form needs to be filled out entirely. Reimbursements will not be made for receipts emailed or left in the box. If a committee needs allocated funds, there needs to be a check request completed with all the invoices attached within 5 business days before the checks are needed. Turnaround time for all requests made in writing will be within 5 business days.

Our annual budget requires at least $45,000 to maintain all of the wonderful enrichment opportunities and to support our Duffy Community.   

We  especially  need  your  support  during  our  FOUR  major  fundraisers: 

Family Donation Drive

Simply go to Konstella and click Fundraising to donate. 

Any amount is appreciated; please give what you can. (If you prefer, checks and cash can be sent in a marked envelope to the Duffy front office.) 

Parents Night Out Auction/Fundraiser 

Historically takes place in the fall and is always a wonderful night with many teacher experiences as well as exciting items. 

Lyman Orchard pie and cookie sales 

Historically takes place in November

Amazon Smile 

Add Duffy to smile.amazon.com & tap "AmazonSmile" within the Settings menu in the Amazon Shopping app on your phone

 

At Duffy, we sponsor many fun-filled events throughout the year that build community and raise money to support programs at Duffy. (All details for these events can be found on the Duffy School Calendar.) 

Annual fall traditions include the Welcome Wagon for New Families, Welcome Back Social and Parents Night Out Auction. Winter traditions include Family Nights such as Bingo, Movies, and Dances. A beloved annual spring tradition is the Duffy Fair. 

We welcome feedback and help in planning all of our events.  Here is a full list of annual events and initiatives.
