Specials
In addition to classroom curriculum and supports, all Duffy students benefit from weekly special area instruction. Specials include:
- Physical Education: 2 times per week
- Art, 1 time per week
- Spanish, 2 times per week
- Music, 2 times per week
- Library/Computer Lab, 1 time per week
- Instrumental Music Lessons for grades 4- 5

The arts teach children acceptance and appreciation for a wide variety of cultures, artists and artforms.
Physical Education
Our PE program is based on helping students develop healthy, active lifestyles by experiencing a balance of activities in a positive, responsible, and cooperative environment.
Vocal Music
Skills learned through music reinforce and improve learning in many subject areas, such as reading, math, language, visual art, and physical education.
Instrumental Music
The instrumental music program provides intensive instruction to develop music skills and is a natural extension of the classroom music curriculum.
World Language
We help student enhance their ability to be responsible citizens in our global community.
